pacific heights soak & lounge

a built in cedar tub, big ol slab stairs that turn into seating, that fabric on the lounge! we used wooly thyme as a soft groundcover and warm Moneterey cypress treads to lead you slowly and thoughtfully from the tub to curl up on the daybed to enjoy the fire. across the way, the kitchen is clad in custom fired tile by Linda Fahey (arranged on site), the lush Fern troughs above provide respite from the existing Ipe. but I think my favorite element is the white railing with it’s cedar dowel handrail, big thanks to our fabulous clients for trusting us when we design against the grain (wood pun).
