this entire garden is nestled under a neighboring Monterey Cypruss creating a sense of intimacy against a sweeping view of san bruno mountain, naturally we oriented the lounge and firepit in it’s direction for maximum zen vibes, the sculptural bench built by Johnny (and best enjoyed with a coffee and the sun on your face) is layered with a custom slatted cedar screen and hearty breezeblock as an anchor. The deck is made up of warm cedar and sultry deep gray limestone with inset plantings to soften and break the lines. we love the way the Acacia dreamily cascades around the perimeter, Cousin Itt creeps over the deck and cheery Leucospermum pop up in unexpected places.
